Front loader e-cargo bikes are the perfect combo of joy and practicality. They make carrying your kiddos, running errands, commuting, and bike-packing an absolute delight! We’re here to help you chose between Riese & Müller's two cream of the crop offerings, the Packster and Load series. Which will take the prize of being your new do-everything ride?
1. Packster Series
The Packster 70 offers a balance between cargo capacity and maneuverability. It's versatile enough to handle urban commuting, grocery shopping, and family outings. If you’re looking for a spacious, 100% recyclable cargo area and good maneuverability, the Packster is an excellent choice.
Bonus! The Packster Automatic model offers the Enviolo automatic shift system, a game-changing technology if you don't want to anticipate shifting gears ever again!
2. Load Series
3. How to choose?!
When deciding between the Packster and Load series, consider the following:
- Terrain: Think about the type of terrain you'll ride on. If you'll frequently encounter rough roads or want a more comfortable ride, opt for the Load series with its standard full suspension or upgrade to the “Control Technology Package” to get full suspension on your Packster. You can also upgrade to the "GX Option" for knobby tires for more grip on either e-cargo bike!
- Speed: If you're on the hunt for a Class 3 e-bike that assists up to 28 mph, you'll want to choose one of the Load "HS" models with the Cargo Line Speed system. The Packster models are available in Class 1 20 mph Cargo Line Cruise systems.
Ultimately, the choice between the Packster and Load series depends on your specific needs and preferences. Whichever series you choose, you'll reap all the benefits that riding an e-cargo bike can bring to your daily adventures!
