Riding in the Rain: Can Your E-Bike Get Wet? 💦
We interrupt this hot, dry July with a refreshing dip in today's tech tip... can you take your Bosch e-bike out in the rain? While you want to avoid completely submerging it in water, Bosch e-bikes are designed to withstand splashing water and even low-pressure water jets thanks to the waterproof rating of at least IPX5. So, whether you're caught in a sudden downpour or just cruising through a puddle-strewn street, you can rest easy knowing that your trusty e-bike will keep chugging along.
But remember, even though your e-bike is waterproof to some extent, it's still a good idea to take care of it by giving it a good wipe down after a wet ride and storing it in a dry place.
