Admittedly, not everyone immediately thinks of fun on two wheels when you hear the words “cargo Bike”. But this changes when you sit on a Load with Control Technology. The optimised chassis and the finely tuned full suspension ensure optimum comfort, safe riding even at higher speeds, excellent road holding and thus top-of-the-range riding dynamics. Vibrations and shocks, such as from cobblestones or kerbs, are significantly cushioned and you are in control.

Safe child transport

Suitable for younger generations too.

Children are the most valuable cargo anyone can carry. Their safety comes first. The five-point seat belts for up to two smaller children age 7 or younger and a comfortable, cushioned seat position ensure relaxed riding around town and in the countryside. For all-round safety, this equipment version is available only with side walls. Loading surface approved for up to max. 70 kg. Flexible load transport

From warehouse to delivery.

Basically you can transport everything on the cargo area of the Load 60, because any cargo can be ideally strapped to the rails. The various side wall and cover options provide additional convenient solutions: The loading surface offers plenty of freedom with a length of 60 cm and a maximum width of 52 cm. Whether you wish to carry luggage for a spontaneous camping weekend, tools, goods or sports equipment, you’ll quickly find the right solution among the different accessory options.

The daytime running light of the ultra-bright Supernova M99 Mini Pro headlamp with main-beam function offers top lighting conditions at night and also increases your visibility during the day. And if you need to stop quickly, the exceptionally bright Supernova M99 Tail Light ensures your safety while the Tektro TRP C 2.3 cargo brake packs quite a punch. The four pistons and thicker brake discs boost your braking power. This ensures your safety even with heavier loads, all the while reducing wear.

Adjustable seating position

Change riders with ease.

Thanks to the angle- and height-adjustable stem and the adjustable saddle height, the seat position can be altered to accommodate body sizes of from 1.50 m to 2.00 m, and adapted from sporty to comfortable. The overall geometry of the bike can be perfectly adjusted to the rider in just a few easy steps. This flexibility makes the Load ideal for shared use, for example within a family.

The Nyon display ensures that you are fully connected and ideally equipped with navigation for every tour or day-to-day ride. The colour display, with its intuitive touch function, is very simple to use and, thanks to being robust and easy-to-read, is guaranteed to get you to your destination in any weather. The user interface can be adapted to your individual needs and with fitness data, the Nyon literally becomes your very own personal trainer.

SmartphoneHub

The Bosch SmartphoneHub and free app turns your smartphone into a display which combines the functions smart navigation with live weather, fitness data and much more. Other services and apps on your smartphone, such as music playback, can be controlled at the same time. But it also works without a mobile phone: in this case, a display integrated into the cockpit shows key riding data. Please note: This option is not compatible with rohloff and HS models (except US/NZ). The SmartphoneHub can hold smartphones (including case) up to a thickness of 8.3 mm and a width of between 58.6 and 78 mm.

If you like riding your E-Bike off-road, then simply equip it with first-class all-terrain tires. The SnakeSkin side wall of the Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus tires guarantees exceptional grip especially when cornering. A 3 mm protective cover around the inner tube provides extra-secure puncture resistance. The wide VP 538 flat pedals provide grip for your feet.

ABUS Chain Lock

The sturdy Abus chain lock, in addition to the Abus Shield frame lock, provides twice the security for your E-Bike. The 130 cm long chain is latched onto the frame lock and you can quickly lock your bike to the nearest lamppost or lock it together with up to three other bikes. The chain thickness of 6 mm ensures a high level of anti-theft protection. Especially practical: frame lock, chain lock and battery lock all use the same key. The bag is firmly attached to the saddle and allows quick and easy removal of the chain lock thanks to its ergonomic shape and Fidlock magnetic closure. Please note: for smaller frame sizes the lowest saddle position may not be usable when the lock bag is fitted.

Carrier

If the front storage space is not enough, there is always the optional carrier. It is ideal for attaching panniers, making it perfect for longer bike trips too. Since it is secured directly to the frame, it also benefits from the suspension thanks to Control Technology. On the HS models, the carrier is fitted as standard.

The high sidewalls with hard cover are ideal for protecting larger loads during transport. Lockable and firmly bolted in place, the cover reliably secures your transport goods. It can be locked in a partially opened position and two comfortable, separate seats can be fitted in the storage space for optionally transporting children.

Children can easily get to their seat with low sidewalls – and yet are still well protected on the road. The practical cover protects them from stones, dirt and rain and can be opened at the sides in summer for an optimum, cooling supply of fresh air.

Glove compartment

The glove box built into the cargo area provides space for smaller items. When open, the flap of the box can be locked to create a luggage compartment in which bags or shopping will not move around when you’re riding. A spray guard below the glove box keeps your shoes dry when you’re riding.

Two child seats with footwell

Two comfortable height-adjustable child seats with adjustable sitting and sleeping positions for two children age seven or younger. The seats can also be fitted individually and centrally. Padded 5-point belts guarantee excellent safety for your children, while the footwell provides plenty of comfort. The lid of the footwell can be fixed in a half-open position so that a cargo compartment is created in which bags or shopping cannot slide during travel, while there is still enough room for the kid's feet. If no kids are riding along, the footwell can be completely closed and used as a glove compartment. Equipment available only in conjunction with sidewalls. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.

We love the captains chair!

The chair fits adults and kids alike - we had one that we were borrowing from a friend that we had to return and it only made sense to buy our own. My kiddo prefers this to the seat without a back.

Solidly built, but painful installation

These decks are built very well, but the installation is pretty time consuming / painful. For the screw on the front side, you'll need a 13mm socket with a long extension bar to reach the inside of the nut - not the 13mm open wrench listed in the manual. Another downside is that the slots on the deck have sharp edges - I wish they could round them off a little.

Beautiful bike

We had the bike shipped to us, and it arrived in perfect condition. The assembly was minimal and easy. It’s a beautiful bike. Smooth, easy, fun. Ride happy! 😎
