Our Lightship baskets are made from finely woven rattan cane, the outer skin of the natural rattan vine. These baskets are replicas of the Nantucket Lightship baskets first produced in Nantucket during the whaling era of the 1800s. Attaches to front handlebars with two leather straps.

We love the captains chair!

The chair fits adults and kids alike - we had one that we were borrowing from a friend that we had to return and it only made sense to buy our own. My kiddo prefers this to the seat without a back.

Solidly built, but painful installation

These decks are built very well, but the installation is pretty time consuming / painful. For the screw on the front side, you'll need a 13mm socket with a long extension bar to reach the inside of the nut - not the 13mm open wrench listed in the manual. Another downside is that the slots on the deck have sharp edges - I wish they could round them off a little.

Beautiful bike

We had the bike shipped to us, and it arrived in perfect condition. The assembly was minimal and easy. It’s a beautiful bike. Smooth, easy, fun. Ride happy! 😎
