BULLS Lacuba Evo E8 Wave Electric Bike
Lacuba Evo E8
The Lacuba series combines comfort with speed, making it a top choice whether you are touring on pavement or trekking on gravel. You'll appreciate the ultra-comfy saddle and upright position of the Lacuba, as in optimal conditions you can reach up to 120 miles on a charge. The SR Suntour fork also adds to your ride's enjoyment by absorbing the bumps along the way. For a multi-purpose e-bike that will allow a quick, sweat-free commute and a breezy cruise through forests and fields, look no farther than the Lacuba.
One of the most exciting features of the Evo E8 is the Gates belt drive, propelling the Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal hub. This combination enables a reliable, low-maintenance and clean drivetrain. It also enhances the performance of the powerful, silent Brose mid-drive unit. In concert with the concealed 650 watt-hour/36V battery, the Lacuba will power you up the steepest of hills and purr along the way.
The Lacuba features Shimano hydraulic disc brakes which provide smooth and even braking in even the most daunting of conditions. With a high capacity battery and an 8-speed drivetrain, you can select a gear that lengthens the battery life in order to further your distance and tackle steep hills.
A rear rack, integrated pump, front and rear lights, and fenders all add to the value of the Lacuba. Available in three different styles to meet riders' needs - the standard frame with a top tube, the Step-Thru frame with low entry, and the Wave model with the lowest standover clearance available.
The Lacuba E8 Wave has a short cockpit and adjustable handlebars to make the riding position as upright and comfortable as possible for any age. Add a suspension fork and 700x50c tires for ultimate cushion. The Wave also foregoes a top-tube to make entry and exit as easy as it gets and sports a 37 Volt, 650 watt/hour battery paired with a nearly silent, 250 watt Brose motor for an unsurpassed range of 137 miles. A bonus for cargo is the rear rack Bulls included that is capable of carrying up to 55lbs with an integrated tire pump. Finally, the cherry on top for the Lacuba is an 8spd internally geared hub driven by a carbon belt drive that requires almost no maintenance and is nearly silent. If you can plug your bike into the wall and occasionally put air in your tires, you can keep your Lacuba running like new for years to come. I could go on, but the bottom line is that the only thing keeping ANYONE from riding a bike, electric or not, is that they don’t already have a Lacuba in their garage.
For me, the Lacuba is a cushy, comfortable ride the first time you try it. It has easy handling, and getting on and off the bike is safe and simple even in harder conditions. It gets 5 stars from me for sure!
